Personal data policy

As data controller, Hjørring Grafisk Værksted is obliged to protect your personal information when you as a private supplier or private customer contract with us, or otherwise make use of the services we offer, and we strive to make you feel safe in our processing of your personal information. We process personal information about you in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

When do we collect and when do we use your personal information?

We collect information about you in the following cases:

  1. When you as a private supplier contract with us.
  2. When you as a private customer contract with us, or otherwise make use of the services we offer.

When you as a private supplier deliver works, services or services to us, we collect a number of information about you in order to effectively contact you if, for example, there may be an interested buyer for one of your works, or if we otherwise need to contact you in this regard. We only collect necessary information, such as your name, address, telephone number and email address. We store your information in our customer and plant system.

When you as a private customer want to acquire a work, participate in events, receive newsletters, or otherwise make use of the services we offer, we collect a number of information about you in order to effectively manage this (your) customer relationship with Hjørring Grafisk Værksted , as well as to be able to manage your possible purchases of works. We only collect necessary information, such as your name, your address, your telephone number, your email address, your artistic interests, your possible relationship with other customers, just as we also keep a history of your previously bought / sold works. We store your information in our customer and plant system.

Your personal information is only processed and stored if you have voluntarily provided it, for example in connection with the purchase of a work, participation in an event, subscription to our newsletter, or when you contact us with questions via email or telephone.

Please note that in some cases you are required to provide us with certain of your personal information, such as your name, address, telephone number and email address, as this information may be required in order to enter into an agreement on e.g. purchase / sale of a work. We will thus not be able to enter into a possible agreement regarding the purchase / sale of a work if you refuse to share such personal information with us. 

 

For what purposes do we use your personal information?

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

  1. To be able to efficiently handle the purchase / sale of works (for example in connection with the issuance of invoices).
  2. To be able to create you in our customer and plant system.
  3. To be able to contact you effectively (for example in connection with the purchase / sale of works).
  4. To be able to answer your inquiries efficiently.
  5. To be able to send you our newsletter if you have requested to receive it.
  6. To be able to invite you to events as well as to be able to effectively plan such events.
  7. In order to be able to offer you the products and services you request.
  8. For marketing purposes.

 

On what basis do we process your personal data?

We process your personal information as described above based on the following:

    1. Your consent.
    2. The processing is necessary for the conclusion of an agreement with you or to take steps at your request before entering into such an agreement with you.
    3. The processing is necessary for us to be able to live up to a legal obligation to which we are subject.
    4. Processing is necessary for the data controller or a third party to pursue a legitimate interest, unless the data subject's interests or fundamental rights and freedoms. The legitimate interests pursued are the operation of the gallery.

 

May we send you marketing?

We would like to send you various marketing materials that we think may be of interest to you.

We will only send you marketing materials if you accept this, and even if you have previously agreed to receive marketing materials from us, you can always opt out of this again.

When do we pass on your personal information?
